Ellen went to Bronx Community College, where she was trained as a volunteer fire fighter and first responder. She joined our team in January 2022 and loves the family feel of working with our doctors. Our team comes from a variety of occupational backgrounds, and they have been very helpful and encouraging as everyone learns to apply their diverse skills to the dental field.
According to Ellen, each team member plays an important role in the success of Bay Dental Associates. Without our doctors, clients cannot be seen. Without our dental assistants, the doctors cannot take care of our patients. Without the front desk, we could not make appointments, and without the office manager, the office would not run.
Ellen has a 24-year-old daughter and three handler-trained service dogs: one retired and two medical alert response dogs. Whenever she can, Ellen tries to educate people about the difference between service dogs and emotional support animals. She loves teaching the public about ADA laws for the service dog community and the importance of asking the right questions when identifying non-service dogs and true service dogs and their handlers.
Verona is on a pre-med track at Rutgers University. She loves interacting with the youth at Bay Dental Associates and watching familial bonds form throughout our patients’ dental health journeys. Her organizational skills are invaluable to our office.
When not at the office or school, Verona can be found at her church safe haven or in leadership with her fellow scouts. She is happy to help wherever needed, and she credits her family with her strong work ethic.
Mel attended Hudson County Community College, where they studied biology before joining our team in 2022. She is always punctual, inquisitive and appreciative of how amazing her coworkers at Bay Dental Associates are.
In her free time, Mel enjoys collecting comic books. They believe Three Brothers From Italy in Bayonne has the best slice of pizza a person can ask for.
Evana has a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Rutgers University and is pursuing further education as a medical student. She joined our team in August 2021, and she loves the kids and families she works with. It brings her satisfaction to help kids get over their dental fears with our doctors. Evana also speaks Arabic
